Welcome to my little corner of the internet.

I am Rosy! An Indian-born, Canadian, Boston-based author-illustrator, dog mom, and an incurable dreamer whose mind has never once agreed to stay still. I want to do everything. Be everything. And somewhere along the way, I decided that was okay.

At my core, I'm an optimist. Glass half full, always. I believe that if your intentions are good and your heart is in it, the only thing left to do is start. Don't think too much. Don't wait until you're ready. Just go.

That's how I wrote my first book, how I boarded my first flight (ever) to Canada, how I walked into my first interview - terrified, hopeful, and moving anyway. Because the worst that can happen is that you never tried. And that, to me, is the only real failure.

When I am not writing or illustrating, you will find me exploring the outdoors, dancing, or dreaming up the next idea - because the ideas never really stop.

Every book in this series was born from one very special Cavapoo named Pluto, my greatest muse, my shadow, and my greatest teacher. In six years, he has shown me more about life than I ever expected. The most important lesson? Kindness doesn't need words. It just needs showing up. Pluto does this effortlessly, every single day, and this entire series is my attempt to put that magic on the page.

I drew every illustration in this book by hand and colored every single page myself. I wanted you to feel it, not just read it. The outdoor scenes, the colors, the quiet details… they are all little love letters to the message at the heart of this story. That kindness matters. And that empathy is a superpower.
